For decades, Medicare has not provided adequate support to general practices. The cost of providing high quality care is constantly increasing, Bulk-billing all patients is no longer an option if we are to continue to provide quality care for our community.
From 1st August 2022, Weston Medical Practice are changing our billing policy so that we can continue to operate.
We proudly continue to bulk bill DVA Gold Card Holders, Commonwealth Concession Card Holders, children under 16 years, Chronic Health Management Plans, Mental Health Care Plans, Health Assessments, Medication Reviews and Childhood Immunisations.
Fees will apply to all patients for services that are not eligible for a Medicare rebate.
